ANIMAL BROCHURE/CHILDREN'S BOOK PROJECT
Using the internet and Word processing or Pages, you will:
Research an animal or sea creature
Project Requirements:
Tri-fold brochure or
Children's story (written to 4-5th grade level) - Cover and at least 2 pages of writing.
At least three pictures (obtained from the internet - need bibliography information for all pictures)
Use bullets, borders, lines, etc. to separate information in your brochure
One map of the city/country where your animal is found
Information required: See questions below
Correct spelling and grammar (use spell check!!)
All information must have bibliography information supplied.
To Set Up Tri-Fold Brochure/Book : (make sure appleworks is set to landscape)
(You can choose three columns) OR
Choose the tri-fold brochure template in Appleworks or Pages

Questions to Answer for your brochure: (2-3 complete senteces)
1. Give a description of your animal. What does it look like?
2. How big is it?
3. How many are there in the world?
4. How long do they live?
5. Where do they live in the world? What country?
6. What is their habitat? (Trees, woods, fields, etc.)
7. What do they eat?
8. What is their behavior like?
9. Are they treatened by other animals or almost extinct?
10. What is interesting about this animal?
